Now that was a great meeting! The venue was packed, the food was great, the beer was amazing and the charities. wow, they were heavy.
?If you didn?t get an opportunity to attend, you can still donate your $100 via this link:?https://100mencalgary.com/donate/?It?s never too late!
So on with it, what happened?

Returning Recipient

First, Third Academy came back and told us how they allocated the $9,400 they received from us at our last meeting. The money?helped support their tech initiatives, such as purchasing iPads and software that focus on helping children with Autism. The money also helps support 20 more students. We couldn’t be happier that the money has found a great use, and augments their amazing work.
All in all, the money was put to good use and we?re grateful they came back to tell us how the money was used.

The 3 chosen charities for the evening were as follows:

MitoCanada Foundation

MitoCanada?s mission is to raise awareness; offer support to patients, families, and caregivers; and funding Canadian research for mitochondrial disease. MitoCanada was founded in 2009 by a Calgary family.
