December 6th is just under 2 weeks away, and some of you are wondering which charities have been nominated so far? We’re so happy to announce that we have 14 nominations this time! Canadian Parks and Wilderness Southern Alberta Chapter The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) is Canada’s voice for wilderness. They are a non-profit environmental organization. They safeguard the environment by working to protect half of Canada’s public land and water. Their focus is to ensure a healthy and wild Canada where people experience and respect nature. Since 1967, CPAWS Southern Alberta Chapter has led conservation efforts to protect areas in Banff National Park, Kananaskis, the Whaleback and the Castle. Which Local Charities Have Been Nominated for September 13th?

September 13th is 2 1/2 weeks away, and some of you are wondering which charities have been nominated so far? We’re so happy to announce that we have 12 nominations this time! Cornerstone Youth Centre Society (Calgary) We are a free, after-school drop-in center, located in a small bungalow in the heart of Mayland Heights and open our doors daily to youth grades 6-9, to provide a safe and caring place for kids to go after school for sports, homework help, hot food, and mentoring. Thanks to the support of 100 Men one year ago, Cornerstone Youth Centre is now in a fantastic position to expand and open a new centre in a new neighbourhood and help another 100 Junior High aged youth a year discover their passion and potential.
